1. Overview
RentHisab is a privacy-first, offline rent and utility management application designed to help users track tenancy, billing, and rent records locally on their device.
We do not require user accounts, and we do not operate any backend servers for storing user data.
2. Information We Collect
RentHisab does not collect or transmit personal data to external servers. All data entered in the app is stored locally on your device and includes:
- Property and tenancy details
- Rent and billing records
- Utility meter readings and calculations
- App preferences and settings
We do not sell, share, or transfer this data to any third party.
3. Local Storage
All user data is stored locally using the device’s storage system. The security and availability of this data depend on your device security settings, including backups you choose to create.
4. Backup and Data Export
RentHisab allows users to export and import backup files manually.
- Backup files are generated locally on your device
- Users choose where to store these files using the device file system
- Users may share backup files externally using system sharing options (e.g., Files app, AirDrop, email)
- Restoration requires manual selection of a previously exported backup file
We do not access, store, or transmit backup files. Backup files are not encrypted by the app. Users are responsible for securely storing their backup data.
5. Notifications
The app may use local notifications to remind users about rent or due dates. These notifications are processed entirely on-device.
6. Support Communication
If you contact support via email, any information you choose to send is handled through your device’s default email application and governed by your email provider’s policies.
7. Third-Party Services (Future Use)
At present, RentHisab does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. In future versions, we may introduce optional services such as:
- Analytics for app improvement
- Crash reporting tools
- Cloud-based synchronization features
If implemented, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before activation.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
